Micro Precision Swiss has joined the Orchid Orthopedic Solutions team and been renamed Orchid MPS.   The Company offers a comprehensive, state-of-the-art manufacturing resource, specializing in small, ultra-precise parts produced on CNC controlled Swiss lathes, 3 and 5-axis mills, wire and sinker EDM machines, as well as 7-axis tool and cutter grinders. In addition, Orchid MPS provides a full range of part finishing processes that includes ultra-sonic cleaning, passivation, precision bending, laser welding/marking, and product assembly. The Company utilizes a fully integrated shop floor control system and its quality systems are certified to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003.

Orchid MPS is focused on the bio-medical market where we have established a solid reputation by working closely with customers' engineers to develop prototypes and designs suitable for full-scale production. The variety of components and assemblies we have produced for orthopedic, medical device, and dental applications demonstrate a full service approach to our customer's needs, manufacturing both the implant and the tools used in the surgical procedure.
